CHS Memories - Broad & Green Streets facility: The Third Central High School 1901-1939

When CHS (the third facility) was relocated to the Ogontz & Olney Avenue campus, the building became the Benjamin Franklin High School where it carried forth for many years for what was called the non-academic student. It was ultimately demolished and replaced by a more contemporary facility on the northwest corner of Broad & Green Streets. This urban high school has many educational innovations to its credit.
