This is the sight that greeted the 1,250 students arriving at Ogontz & Olney Avenues on that wintry February 1st, 1939 morning for their first day of classes. Hundreds of alumni came to visit the new building in the first months. The 172nd class was the first class to be graduated from the new building in June, 1939.
