Alan has dedicated his life to the study and teaching of Medicine. He is a prolific writer of medical journal entries and texts. He is a Professor of Medicine, Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology; he is the head of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Baylor University College of Medicine; Alan received his M.D. Degree from Temple University, 1968 and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine also at Temple University.
