| My wife, Esta and I have been happily married for forty-one years. We have three
handsome married sons who have gifted us with eight grandchildren. After serving three years with Army Intelligence, I earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Hawaii and a Masters degree from the University of Miami. I became a CPA and a Partner in what is now the largest CPA firm in Florida and the 43rd largest in the country. I retired after being diagnosed with ALS in 1998. Fortunately the progression has been slow and other than poor speech and confinement to a wheelchair, I am fine. Esta and I continue to travel, mostly to visit our kids in Dallas, Austin and Philly. I constantly brag about CHS and Im probably more proud of my diploma than my graduate degree. Being able to attend the 50th reunion is an achievement I never thought I would have.
