| In John's words-"Im a clinical psychologist:Professorof Psychology at the State University of New York, College at Old Westbury, on Long Island,a private practice in northern Fairfield County, and consultant to humanitarian aid agencies to help them sustain their staff in their very difficult and often dangerous jobs (based in Amsterdam, sort of a long story).
Im married to Sharon McQuaide, a psychotherapist. We live in Sherman, CT, a tiny town north of Danbury. Daughter Rosa, is in D.C., serving in the Obama Defense Department and raising two children. Son Ben is in LA and is a free lance journalist, essayist, novelist, and short 'story-ist'. Alex, my youngest son, is in college in Connecticut.
