A member of the Cumberland (NJ)Orthopedic Professional Association, Gerry received his M.D. degree at the University of Pennsylvania. While an officer in the US Army, Dr. Packman received its Commendation Medal for bringing arthroscopy to Moncrief Army Hospital in Fort Jackson. He was elected President of the Cumberland County Medical Society (NJ). He was also named "Physician of the Year" at Newcomb Medical Center for 1999. His practice style includes discussion of the treatment recommendations and alternatives with the patient. He believes that an informaed patient will not only be involved in medical decision-making, but also in the treatment process. Dr. Packman and his wife, Linda live in Vineland (NJ). They have two children. |
