| The building has now been turned over to the School District of Philadelphia. Interior work continues while classes will continue at the Broad & Green Streets facility until the 31st of January, 1939. The next day, February 1st, will be the first day in the new CHS building at Ogontz & Olney Avenues- a day which was wintry and with biting wind gusts. September 27, 1938.
