"Central’s gift to me was the development of a disdain for structured education. This attitude followed me to Drexel University, where I proceeded to drop out and re-enroll four times.  Miraculously, either because of electro-shock therapy or the faded memory of Central, I regained my thirst for knowledge and got my M.A., M.B.A and Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania. My last full-time job was in 1991.  At 49, no one would hire me so I naturally became a consultant, working solely with company presidents over the next 19 years. I married my high-school girlfriend, Roberta Weiss, in 1964.  We have two married sons, Jason, an Immigration Attorney in DC, and Michael, a VP of Marketing for a local technology company.  We’re looking forward to our first grand-child in November. Having no work or hobbies, and tired of watching grass grow, I recently got involved with an off- shore investment group developing a unique horse racing system using proprietary optimization concepts.  If successful, our next project would be the creation of a hedge fund using the same technology.  Any 214ers have an extra $10 million to invest?
