Gene served as a Municipal Judge in Philadelphia for seventeen years, retired and became partner at the law firm of Montgomery and McCracken in Philadelphia. Janice is also an attorney. The Cohens have two sons and three grandsons, One son is a CHS graduate of the 253rd class. From the new yearbook, Gene quips, "Everything I'll ever know I learned at Central".
